With an Environmental Engineering Degree from the University of the Algarve, currently working as a Technical Manager for the Via Algarviana Project. He has coordinated several projects connected with nature preservation and the study of birds in Portugal, namely the Natural Reservation of the Sado Riverline and at the Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds (SPEA). He has been an Almargem member since 1992, where he has been responsible for the promotion of several initiatives related to the prevention of fires, environmental volunteer work, working camps, environmental education, ecotourism, etc. A walking and mountaineering fan, an assiduous participant of this type of activities promoted in this region and also in other regions.

With a BA Degree in Cultural Heritage from the University of the Algarve, currently in charge of the Marketing and promotion of the Via Algarviana. She has different interests that go into the fields of heritage, archeology, geology, environment, diving and speleology. She has been involved in projects in the fields of archeology and heritage, where she was responsible for the heritage inventory at the Portuguese Institute of Archeological Heritage, several archeological projects for private companies and she has given support to several municipalities in a variety of projects. She participates and organizes activities for several environmental and heritage protection associations and she personally appreciates the contact with nature and outdoor activities.
